So as you may already know if been hired to illustrate my first children's book. It's about treating the earth like our mother, loving her and respecting her. Very Eco minded and full of animals!
I had some help from Dwayne (thanks dude!) and the AOI with the contract.
I have another book project with my mother, it's about Orcas but I don't have a contract for that one yet. We're getting it published through my aunt's publishing company so I'm waiting for more news on that one.
I was asked to illustrate ANOTHER book, but I declined that one as the text was not super great and to be honest, I'm overwhelmed already.

Disclaimer, the images that I show will not be copied, they are a guide and an example of what I imagine.
I'm going to go through each set of pages (n°1 = page 1 + 2 ) ie double spread.

2) To the left will be text decorated with various animals and plants (see examples below). And to the right a beautiful landscape with the "main character" the Kestrel.
3) Animals with their mothers: double spread, top: birds, middle: whales, bottom: deer
4) Double spread with text: Mother mountain lion with baby in Redwood forest + Kestrel
.5) Again text decorated, this time in fracking machines, dead fish and plastic waste. On the right 3 scenes of destruction: top pollution, middle plastic in water and bottom chopped trees.
